A Med-themed Minecraft server for FMPT students.
MC.FMPT.NET is the landing page for our future Minecraft server. The actual in-game server address will be play.fmpt.net, and it is planned for Minecraft Java 1.21.
It is not launched yet. We are first collecting interest to see whether enough FMPT students want it. Once we reach 50 submissions, we launch the server and set up the best configuration possible for our community.
Why this server could be genuinely fun
Not just another random SMP. The idea is to make it feel like it belongs to FMPT students: med-school flavor, pharmacy jokes, doctor builds, chill vibes, and a good break from study pressure.
Built around a modern Java version from the start so the experience feels current and stable.
Hospital spawn, anatomy-inspired zones, pharmacy labs, healing kits, medical signs, and FMPT-flavored lore.
No empty promise. Once the page reaches 50 valid submissions, we move from idea to actual rollout.
Here is the kind of world we want to build: something playful, a bit nerdy, recognizably medical, and easy to join for both hardcore players and people who just want a peaceful evening on campus vibes in block form.
A central spawn inspired by a blocky teaching hospital with emergency wing, ward signs, clinic corridors, and pharmacy counters.
Brewing-heavy spaces themed like pharmaceutics labs, recipe rooms, herb gardens, and potion stations with academic flavor.
Large-scale bones, organs, anatomy halls, museum-style builds, and themed parkour or discovery areas for fun exploration.
Friendly survival focus, clean rules, community building, and a better place to unwind after long days of lectures or exams.
Student groups, promo banners, faculty references, med/pharma humor, and world landmarks that actually feel ours.
Depending on the final setup: anti-grief, moderation tools, secure spawn area, and quality-of-life rules to keep it chill.
- Email helps us notify interested players when the server is actually ready.
- Minecraft name helps with planning access, testing, whitelist ideas, and early community setup.
- Cracked / Original is essential because it changes how the server should be configured from day one.
- 50 submissions is our minimum threshold to justify launch effort, moderation setup, and long-term maintenance.
- play.fmpt.net is the intended in-game domain so the project still feels connected to the FMPT ecosystem.
This counter is a visual target for the page. Update the number in the script whenever you want the bar to reflect the real Formspark total.
No. This is a pre-launch page only. The Minecraft server itself is not live yet.
The server is planned for Minecraft Java 1.21.
The intended in-game address is play.fmpt.net.
Because that changes setup decisions early and helps avoid building the wrong launch configuration.
This is not a long application. It is simply a launch vote. Leave your details so we can measure real interest and configure the server properly.
Using Formspark here keeps the page lightweight and easy to maintain. Once the threshold is reached, launch details can be sent to the submitted emails.
Extra things that would make this even better
These are optional, but they would fit the project well once the server is alive and the community starts growing.
Small mini-events during revision season: short contests, scavenger hunts, relaxed building evenings, or promo meetups.
Recreate recognizable FMPT-inspired spaces in Minecraft so the server feels familiar and special instead of generic.
Doctor coats, pharmacy counters, triage zones, ambulance decor, anatomy museums, clinic signage, and other thematic fun.
